The Cargolux Sales and Marketing Division encompasses departments whose ultimate goal is to offer forwarders worldwide the perfect combination of air freight capacity at the right time, to the right place and at the right price.

The Global Account Management team treats a customer’s operations worldwide as one integrated account with coherent terms for pricing, product specifications and service. It carries out tasks such as negotiating international contracts with major forwarders, thus creating a more coordinated business-wide approach with these customers across all markets.
The Sales Marketing Department provides the sales organization with adequate support to promote the company’s products and services across worldwide markets. Advertising campaigns, fairs and exhibitions, sales videos, product brochures, sales incentives are a few of the activities that would be handled by this department. Its overall mission is clearly to personalize and differentiate the Cargolux brand from the competition with the best and most appropriate marketing mix.
The Sales Support Department ensures that the Sales and Operations teams at outstations are equipped with adequate human resources and budget as well as market and customer data, feedback and other tools to help them work timely and efficiently. It manages the global or regional commercial agreements with customers and business partners, such as blocked space cargo agreements, incentives or weight-volume compensation agreements as well as general sales agreements.
The Sales Support Department is also in charge of HR coordination between outstations and the corporate Human Resources Department. Ultimately, it is the bridge that connects our valuable outstations to the headquarters in Luxembourg.
Cargolux’s sales stations are the engines that power our company’s success in sales. They are spread around countries and continents empowered with the crucial role of selling the Cargolux products and capacity to local forwarders. They are handling sales enquiries, requests and bookings in cooperation with the Luxembourg reservations and sales team. They offer airport-to-airport or door-to-door services to their local logistics partners and will therefore be involved in looking after import, export and customs matters. They are Cargolux’s ambassadors in the world!
