Cargolux and Finnair join forces on Helsinki to Hong Kong service.

Luxembourg, 16 November 2004 - Cargolux Airlines International S.A. and Finnair Cargo have entered into a partnership agreement covering a new cargo route between Luxembourg, Helsinki and Hong Kong.

Starting 25 November, the route will be operated once a week with a Cargolux B747-400F aircraft. Under the blocked space agreement, Finnair has approximately half the aircraft's cargo capacity.

With the new service, Cargolux and Finnair offer clients the ability to transport larger cargo volumes directly between Hong Kong and Finland, and vice versa.

The new flight departs from Luxembourg to Helsinki every Thursday. It returns to Helsinki on Saturday mornings, after which it continues to Luxembourg.
