| Cargolux adds second frequency to Lagos/Nigeria and introduces N'Djamena/Chad Luxembourg, 11 October, 2004 – Following the introduction of one weekly flight to Lagos/Nigeria in June of this year, Cargolux now announces a second frequency to this destination, effective 19 October, 2004. CV 7102 is operated every Tuesday from Luxembourg, departing at 8.45 a.m. local, with arrival in Lagos at 1.45 p.m. Departure from Lagos is at 3.15 p.m., with continuation to N’Djamena/Chad and Nairobi/Kenya. N’Djamena has been introduced as new Cargolux gateway, while seven flights are now operated through Nairobi plus one flight via Eldoret/Kenya. Same as on Cargolux’s Sunday flight to Lagos, oil drilling equipment as well as general cargo are loaded onto the company’s B747-400 freighters destined for Lagos and N’Djamena, while traditional flower shipments are flown from Nairobi to Maastricht, before returning to Luxembourg. In Nigeria, Cargolux is represented by Merchant Express Cargo, and in Kenya by Afrika Aviation Handlers Ltd.The new service via N’Djamena is currently taken care of by Cargolux’s Head Office Sales Dept.
