Cargolux adjusts fuel surcharge

Luxembourg, February 14th, 2003 - Cargolux reacts to the recent sharp fuel price increase and adapts its fuel surcharge on all cargo shipments.

Effective March 1st, 2003, the current level of the fuel surcharge will be adjusted to 0,15 Euro, or equivalent to local currency.

This increase is to be considered as a first step in a dramatic fuel cost environment.

The new fuel surcharge of Euro 0,15 per kilo is based on actual weight and will be implemented across the Cargolux network according to local legislation.

Cargolux is dedicated to providing a high quality air cargo service to its customers worldwide, but has to react to changing market conditions, such as higher fuel costs, which are a major part of the cost structure.
