| Cargolux Adjusts Fuel Surcharge Cargolux reacts to the recent sharp fuel price increase and adapts its fuel surcharge on all cargo shipments. Effective 21 September 2002, the current level of the fuel surcharge will be adjusted to 0,10 Euro, or equivalent to local currency. The new fuel surcharge of Euro 0,10 per kilo is based on actual weight and will be implemented across the Cargolux network according to local legislation. Cargolux is dedicated to providing a high quality air cargo service to its customers world-wide, but has to react to changing market conditions, such as higher fuel costs, which are a major part of the cost structure.
