Cargolux is currently one of the 20 largest companies of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, both in terms of turnover and staff numbers.

As one of the major employers of the country it is Cargolux’ permanent concern to operate responsibly, both by controlling its impact on the environment and surrounding communities, and by contributing to the community life of its home base.

Aircraft Mechanic's Training

Since 1980 Cargolux has co-sponsored a curriculum organized by the Lycée Technique Emile Metz, specifically designed to train young technically-minded individuals to the profession of Aircraft Mechanic.

Since 2001 this course has become a 2-year training, including part-time on-the-job training, sanctioned by an internationally approved JAR aircraft mechanics license.
