Task responsibilities:

  • Support in the development, update and revision of a risk-based Audit Plan (especially the IT area but not limited to) and the underlying methodology as deemed necessary by current audit industry developments and standards in order to ensure a good practice approach
  • Perform and coordinate assurance activities relating to the IT environment and infrastructure
  • Carry out regular audit work according to the department's risk-based Audit Plan
  • Establish audit reports and define value-adding corrective actions for the business - mitigating risk in a cost-efficient way
  • Drive the development of technology across the entire audit process to increase efficiency and effectiveness and obtain broader risk assessment coverage, including data mining and analysis tools
  • Offer advisory services to collaborate and support the business in meeting their objectives

Essential requirements:

  • Master degree in either Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or Economics
  • CIA/ CISA certificate, working knowledge of COBIT or another audit related designation is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the field of internal/external auditing or another relevant field
  • Good knowledge of Data Analytics related tools and implementation
  • Additional experience in an operational business environment will be considered as an advantage
  • Business minded attitude with ability to make cost vs. benefit/ cost vs. risk assessments
  • Ability to manoeuvre comfortably through complex processes, policies, (people-related) dynamics and to plan/ prioritize work
  • Very strong communication and writing skills
  • Be trustworthy, honest, integer, business minded and support company values
  • Be people and team orientated and be able to work independently
  • Understand the company's product and services and be able to make complex analysis
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; French and German would be an advantage
  • Strong SAP expertise in FI/CO module highly welcome

Working Conditions:

  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
  • Position based in Luxembourg
  • Travels as required
