Full Time, Temporary Contract - 12 months

An opportunity has arisen for a CARGO CUSTOMER SERVICES AGENT to join the Cargolux Airlines operations team at Heathrow on a temporary 12 months contract to cover maternity leave.

Task Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a timely and efficient cargo reservations service to internal and external customers
  • Develop the relationship with the customer base and use the acquired knowledge to strive continually to improve the conversion ratio of enquiries to bookings
  • Manage and maximize available capacity on designated traffic lanes using existing support tools
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenues and costs for traffic lanes managed

Essential Requirements:

  • General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level)
  • Previous exposure in a cargo environment is a distinct advantage
  • Operational knowledge
  • Excellent level in written and spoken English
  • Communicate effectively and assertively
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Results and target oriented
  • People and team oriented and able to work independently
  • Self-motivated
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Fully PC literate
  • Attention to detail

Working Conditions:

  • Position based at Heathrow
