Full Time, Permanent Contract

Task Responsibilities:

  • Load planning, aircraft loading and producing airworthy documentation
  • Coordinate flight related data with Flight Operations
  • Coordinate turn around activities and requirements
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Provide network support to internal and external customers
  • Assure a safe working environment on ground and on flight
  • Coordinate with Export Services, Import Services, ULD (Unit Load Device) control and Hub Steering Center
  • If required supervise and coordinate physically the activities of the Ground Handling Agent (GHA) and General Sales Agent (GSA)
  • Contribute to team effort

Essential Requirements:

  • General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or previous exposure to Import, Export, Global Logistics or equivalent would be considered as a distinct advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French, other languages are a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), advanced knowledge of Excel would be considered as a distinct advantage
  • Action orientated; having the ability to take on new challenges with a sense of urgency
  • Dealing effectively with complexity and having good problem solving skills
  • Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
  • Being able to take decisions within tight deadlines
  • Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Being assertive

Working Conditions:

  • Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365
  • Flexible with working hours and short-notice shift changes
  • Occasional travel required within the entire Cargolux network
  • Position based in Luxembourg
  • Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
