At Cargolux, being responsible towards both the environment and society is one of our highest priorities, right below ensuring the highest degree of safety in our operations. This is exemplified by the fact that Cargolux became a member of the globally recognized United Nations Global Compact in 2007.

We fly one of one of the most fuel efficient and quietest aircraft in its class, the Boeing 747-400F. We are also the launch customer for the next-generation Boeing 747-8F, which will be even more fuel-efficient and produce lower noise disturbances to communities surrounding the airports where we operate.

Cargolux is firmly integrated into the communities where we operate, in particular at our hub in Luxembourg.
